Complete Syndication
This process encompasses all of the activities of forming a bank syndicate for a large deal. The syndication is typically established to limit the risk or to facilitate a deal that exceeds the lending limit of one bank.
The lead bank of the syndicate is attractive due to control of the structure, syndicate membership and borrower relationship. Varying upfront and yearly fees are also paid to the lead bank.
